Understanding the ticket statuses when using the scanner app?
While using our free ticket scanning app, you will encounter the following ticket statuses.
Ticket Is Valid
This means the ticket is a valid ticket and the ticket number is inside the ticket CSV file. This shows that the ticket holder is someone who paid for your ticket.
Ticket Is Invalid
This means the ticket is not valid and the ticket number is not contained inside the ticket CSV file. This could also mean the ticket has been canceled, refunded or it is for a different event.
Ticket Was Used
As the status phrase implies, the ticket has been used before. This technically means the ticket has been scanned by the ticket scanner app and marked as used.
Ticket Is No Longer Valid
This means the ticket that is scanned has been resold to other people. This current ticket is probably a ticket that was purchased from the event organizer but eventually resold to someone else. Thus, in this case, the current ticket has been voided. This scenario may happen when someone is trying to enter the event with an old ticket that has been resold.
