What Is The Meaning Of GA Ticket?

GA (pronounced as G A, not “gah”) is the initial for a general admission type of ticket. As the name implies, this ticket admits you into the event in a general way, without any reserved or individual seat waiting for you. Hence the term general admission. This means you could sit or stand anywhere you want.

Take note that there may or may not be chairs around for you to sit. Some tickets indicate this with the term “floor” or “standing” which means you need to stand throughout the duration of the event. Otherwise, it’s same to assume there will be seats around.

But do arrive early because GA events usually mean “first come first served” for where you could seat.
